Splash out on sanitaryware

Design-driven solutions help transform the bathroom into an appealing yet
practical living space

Maximising space and personalisation continue to be key trends in bathroom design, which is why bathroom specialist, Vitra, has introduced a new range of sanitaryware purposely designed to offer style in restricted spaces, without losing function.

Inspired by the shape of the rising sun, the Sunrise collection has been created to help make the morning routine a more pleasant experience, upgrading every bathroom with carefully considered functionality.

Created by German design studio, Noa, the collection also incorporates a modern twist on the rich Turkish bath and ceramic culture. By offering design-driven solutions, Sunrise helps transform the bathroom into an appealing yet practical living space.

Co-director of Noa, Berti Illert, explains: “When the day begins with a stunning sunrise, you know it’s going to be a beautiful day. Inspired by the shape of the rising sun, Sunrise offers a variety of products to suit, not to mention upgrade, every bathroom situation.”

Sunrise comprises a selection of contemporary products, with ten varieties of basin, including a reduced depth semirecessed basin and five WC pan options, in addition to a wallhung bidet. All are designed to meet the needs of the UK bathroom market. Boasting simple, compact and clean designs, each piece not only helps to maximise space, but also serves to create a focal point within the bathroom.

Vitra has created a complementary family of bathroom furniture with the launch of four revitalised collections. Following its acquisition of the German company, Burgbad furniture, the company has re-created the Espace, Nuova, Options and Retro collections.
