Roman continues to grow with the appointment of Steven Pape
as Tray Plant Manager at its shower tray manufacturing facility in
Country Durham. Steven, 26, holds a MSc (Hons) in Advanced
Manufacturing Systems and BEng (Hons) in Computer Aided Design
Engineering. He heads a team of seven involved in the production
of Roman’s low level trays.
Roman’s managing director, David Osborne, said: “We are delighted
to welcome Steven on board. As a company, we are constantly
looking to develop new products for the bathroom and shower
market, to secure our ongoing success within the industry. Steven
is an ideal candidate to bring fresh ideas to the role.”

Addacabin’s sales manager, Ewan Robertson, has been promoted
to sales director. Addacabin designs, manufacturers, sells and
hires products from jack-leg cabins to steel secure stores. Ewan
has over 10-years experience working in sales, specialising in
after-sales service and customer care.
Ewan said: “From my experience within the industry, I am acutely
aware of what the market demands and our clients require when
they purchase our products.
Given Addacabin’s stature and reputation for customer care within
the sector, I am keen to develop further the fully customer-orientated
after-sales service. We are planning to drive sales and expand the
company into the West and North of Scotland and North of England.”

Aqualux is reinforcing its Scottish presence with Dave Stewart
appointed as area sales manager. Dave joins the shower
enclosures and bath screens manufacturer with 30-years
industry experience. He brings distribution and retail expertise.
Having worked for a leading distributor, developing their Scottish
business, for over six- years, plus running his own bathroom retail
business for 10-years, Dave is confident he’ll be able to use his
understanding to strengthen Aqualux’s presence.
Dave commented: “My previous experience gives me a great
grounding to deliver the service and backup that retailers and
showrooms need from suppliers
while my distribution background allows me to cover the same
issues from a different perspective.”

Bovis Homes (Northern) has strengthened its sales team with the
appointment of Claire Gilligan as area sales manager North West.
Claire takes responsibility for day-to-day management of seven
sites across the North West region including the onsite sales
teams. Claire will set-up and maintain efficient reporting
procedures to ensure sales leads and sales administration are
dealt with efficiently, along with planning and coordinating new
showhomes and sales offices.
Claire said: “I am confident that I can use my marketing
experience to successfully lead the on site sales teams to achieve
improved levels of interest in our developments and secure more
reservations.”

What began as a student job to fund her way through university
ended up being the foundation for a successful career in the
housing industry for Redrow Homes’
latest recruit, Susan Donaldson. Susan, 26, from Stirling, has
joined the house builder as area sales manager, having
previously worked as sales and marketing manager for Hamptons
International in Edinburgh.
Susan will oversee the day-to-day sales operation at Redrow
developments, primarily on the east coast, including schemes in
Edinburgh, Prestonpans and Aberuthven. Her role includes setting
up sales operations at new developments, supporting sales
consultants at existing sites and monitoring sales performance.

House builder, Thomas Mitchell Homes, has appointed Neil Guild
as after care manager for its private housing division. With over
twenty years experience working in the private housing industry,
Neil has specialised in after-sales service and customer care,
having recently held the position of after sales inspector for
another UK house builder.
Thomas Mitchell Homes’ sales and marketing director, Stuart
Rennie, said: “Neil Guild has been appointed to maintain the
standards of excellence that our customers have come to expect,
and to further enhance the positive experience and support

Brigitte UK has appointed Howard Parsons as sales director.
With over 15-years experience in sales and marketing, Howard
brings experience including an understanding of the contract
kitchen market. Howard’s responsibilities include rolling out
a new marketing strategy to support Brigitte’s growing
contract division.
Brigitte’s UK managing director, Robert Gillard, said: “I am very
pleased Howard has joined Brigitte UK, and I know he will prove
a strong and driving force for developing the brand Brigitte in the
UK. With business growing rapidly, Howard will focus on

Timber importer and manufacturer, John Brash and Company,
has expanded its sales force with the addition of a technical
business development manager. Graham Irish brings
knowledge and experience in the technical specification of
construction materials, and will cover the North of England
and Scotland. Graham will advise architects, specifiers and
contractors on the latest building regulations.
The role also involves developing opportunities across the
John Brash product range including cedar shingles, shakes
and timber cladding, specifically for customers looking to create
cost effective, sustainable buildings. Graham will also be
demonstrating the safety benefits of JB Antislip Plus
timber decking
